We make Wren Loyalty, so read this knowing that. We've tried to be fair: every price below is the vendor's own listed price as of October 2026, and we say where another plugin is the better pick.
What to look for
- Block checkout support. New stores use the Cart and Checkout blocks. Check that points show and can be redeemed there, not just one of the two.
- A usable free version. It lets you test with real customers before you pay.
- Correct balances. Refunds, cancellations and orders that change status should adjust points exactly once.
- A way out. Can you export your data, and can a new plugin import your balances?

The plugins
Wren Loyalty
Earning, redeeming in the Cart and Checkout blocks and in classic checkout, a My Account rewards page, a dashboard and importers from seven plugins are all free. Every point is an entry in an append-only ledger, and a built-in check confirms balances match it. Pro adds VIP tiers, referrals, birthday points, expiry and campaigns. It is new in 2026, so it has far fewer reviews than the plugins below.
WooCommerce Points and Rewards
The official extension, sold on WooCommerce.com and stated as compatible with the blocks and HPOS. It covers points per purchase and redemption well but has no tiers, referrals or birthday points, and there is no free version to try first.
YITH Points and Rewards
A mature premium plugin with tiers, referrals and birthday points. Its free version is no longer on WordPress.org, so you buy before you try. A good fit if you already use and like YITH's other plugins.
WPLoyalty
A free plugin with a broad Pro version and explicit Cart and Checkout block support. Its downloads grew about 21% over the last year, the fastest of the dedicated loyalty plugins.
Points and Rewards for WooCommerce (WP Swings)
The most-installed free loyalty plugin on WordPress.org, at about 7,000 active installs. Check block checkout redemption on your own store before relying on it; we couldn't find an explicit Checkout block claim in its changelog.
MyRewards
Leans into gamification, with badges and achievements alongside points. It also offers a lifetime license, which few loyalty plugins do.
SUMO Reward Points
Sold on CodeCanyon for a one-time $49, with a very long feature list and good ratings. Block checkout support for redeeming arrived in August 2026, so test it if you use the blocks.
Advanced Coupons loyalty program
The loyalty add-on is only sold inside Advanced Coupons' All Access bundle. Worth it if you also want its coupon features; expensive if you only need loyalty.
Our honest recommendation
- Want the official extension and are happy to pay for it: WooCommerce Points and Rewards.
- Want badges and gamification: MyRewards.
- Want a one-time payment and don't mind CodeCanyon: SUMO.
- Use the block checkout and want a free, accurate program with an affordable upgrade: try Wren Loyalty.
Whichever you pick, test it with the five-minute checkout checklist before launch. If you switch later, here's how to move points safely.
